AR-15 Scopes Red Dot & Reflex Sights Under $60
Lately I've gone on a tear buying rifle scopes and reflex sights for under $60. I have good collection of my proven winners like Vortex optics and Nikon scopes, but after using my prized 5.56 and damaging the Sig Sauer Reflux, I needed a replacement. Seeing as how new Sig Romeo reflexes start at $400, there's no chance I'll pay that again. Don't get me wrong, my Sig 5.56 rifle is perfect and would rate it 5 out 5 stars without a second guess but the Reflex left a lot to be desired.
In full disclosure I really wanted to love the Reflex, but I was always let down. Romeo never rubbed me the right way. It would get a generous 2 out of 5 stars only because it lasted 4 years. I could buy every scope on this list for the price of one Sig optic, so thats what I set my sights on.
As the red dot reflex sights and rifle scopes started rolling in
I was pretty impressed. They all exceeded my exceptions and had a lot to offer. Many had illuminated red dots, adjustable reticles, nitrogen filled o-ring sealed aluminum construction, and some, came with lasers, lens covers and ring mounts. Images where clear with some allowing 90% light transmission. None could replace the Nikon scopes or Vortex optics rifle scope but to be totally honest, all where better than the Sig Reflux sight.
Two optics from Tacticon come in high on the list for good reason. Anytime you can find a great optic, at a great price, coming from an American company that creates American jobs, their product should always be considered. They're really cool sights with an even better story. The company was founded by a U.S Army combat Veteran who started the company by using his knowledge from his time spent in the service. He set out to invent and manufacture tactical and concealed carry equipment. Not only do you get a great optic, but it feels good giving back to someone who helps protect our freedoms. When you order the Predator V1 or V3 reflex sight for your rifle, you also get hand written note thanking you for your support which is real class act.
Tacticon Armament Predator V1 Red Dot Sight
One of the first things I noticed about the Tacticon Armament Predator V1 Red Dot Sight , was the windage and elevation adjustments on this red dot had nice response, you could hear and feel the positive click. Zeroing it was smooth all the way through. I liked the fact that the red dot was crisp. It really bugs me when the dot is fuzzy or you get a starburst effect. I'd rather have no scope than an uncomfortable one. While listening to the positive clicks, and switching from red dot to green, I notice the Tacticon Armament Predator is engineered to co-witness with iron sights. Top it off with the company's no hassle 100% life time guarantee, the value this red dot gives you is priceless
Predator V3 Micro Red Dot Sight
This rugged Predator V3 Micro Red Dot Sight, just doesn't quit. After buying the Tacticon Armament Predator above I purchesed this one. It's a parallax-free design so target acquisition is effortless at further distances. The V3 also has a 2 MOA red dot with 11 different brightness settings, which are easy to adjust thanks to the highly responsive turrets. Mounting this mini red dot is a walk in the park. It comes nicely equipped with .83 offset mounts for co-witness with your iron sights and 45 degree mounts if you're using it as a secondary scope. The V3 is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-purged so you can push forward in all weather conditions. I ended up liking this little guy so much I bought a few more and gave them to friends as gifts.

Simmons Truplex 3-9X40 Riflescope
Mounted on my .22 and 9mm carbine the Simmons Truplex 3-9X40 Riflescope is good for recreational shooting and a good day light scope. It's seen a lot of personal use with success. For a period of time, I even had it on my AR while teaching a friend. The only issue I’ve had is when a ring mount came loose, once tightened it was back on zero. Since that day I've never had another issue. It holds zero well, just keep your rings tight. It's a no frills simple scope that can get the job done.
Pinty Reflex Red Green Dot Sight
The Pinty Reflex Red Green Dot Sight is one of the cheaper scopes on the list, I’m still pretty amazed at how well it’s holding up. Built out of solid one piece aluminum construction The multi coated glass is clearer than I thought it would be. Red and green illuminated dot reticles have 5 level brightness controls. It’s also nitrogen filled making it weather proof. Pinty boasts you can get a 57 degree field of view at 100 yards.
Beileshi 6-24X50mm AOEG Optics Rifle Scope
The Beilesh's been tested by us on numerous rifles and held it's ground, you honestly can't go wrong. Images are crisp and clear within 100 yards, I've even been able to pull of shots at 150 yards with success. I honestly can't complain about the Beileshi 6-24X50mm AOEG Optics Rifle Scope. Especially when you consider it also has level 5 Illuminated red and green dot crosshairs, it’s been one of my better buy's.
CVLIFE Tactical Red Green Dot Rifle Scope Reflex Sight.
It comes in two colors giving you the option to color match. The CVLife Reflex has great sight picture. Offering four adjustable reticle patterns, and is illuminated in red & green make target acquisition easy. I kind of laugh when I see people say this is not a $300 reflex, I think yeah, but its better then my $400 Sig.
